The Brown Thomas shopping center is THE Irish reference for chic and glamorous women's fashion since 1849. This department store, a sort of local Galeries Lafayette, is the most famous in the city. You will find all the big international brands and designers (Chanel, Tiffany's, Louis Vuitton, etc.) as well as Irish designers. It's beautiful, it's stylish, but it's really not cheap... except during the sales when prices are really broken! See you then in January and in June-July in particular.

Brown Thomas est LE grand magasin irlandais au sud de la Liffey, l'équivalent du Bon Marché à Paris. Très (trop?) chic, on peut s'y sentir un peu mal à l'aise, mais on y trouve toutes les grandes marques, ce qui est pratique. Evidemment, on n'y va pas pour les bonnes affaires...
