Several days of racing and demonstrations, culminating in the world-renowned Aga Khan Cup.
For several days in summer, the Royal Dublin Society (in the Ballsbridge district) hosts national and international horse races, show jumping competitions and a wide variety of demonstrations, usually culminating in the Aga Khan Trophy, a legendary race of worldwide renown. The Dublin Horse Show dates back to 1868 and attracts over 100,000 visitors each year to admire the superb horses competing. It's one of the highlights of the Irish summer.
