SAINT SAVIOUR'S CHURCH
Beautiful Dominican church with superb Gothic architecture inside and remarkable stained-glass windows and sculptures.
This beautiful Dominican church was built by J.J. McCarthy in 1861. The façade and its rose window are magnificent. Inside, the superb gothic architecture, the nave, the stained glass windows, the sculptures and the ceiling are also worth a visit if you pass by. The church of Saint Saviour also houses a convent within its walls. Note that prayer vigils are held every Wednesday, from 8 to 9 pm, encouraging young foreigners in the Irish capital to exchange in a cosmopolitan and fraternal atmosphere.
