Remarkable French Gothic church designed by Scottish architect Andrew Heiton, worth a visit in Dublin.

This church was built between 1862 and 1863, and designed by the Scottish architect Andrew Heiton. It is built from granite, and the color of the gray stone gives it a somewhat austere appearance. Previously known as Abbey Presbyterian Church, it owes its new name to Alexander Findlater, a whiskey and wine merchant who became the church's benefactor by financing its construction. Of note, Findlater's Church is mentioned in the works of James Joyce.
