CITY ASSEMBLY HOUSE
Remarkable Georgian building, built by the Society of Artists and hosting exhibitions, shows...
This eighteenth-century Georgian building, built by the Society of Artists in the 1760s, housed the Dublin City Museum until 2003. The building was closed for work for ten years and reopened its doors after being partially restored, under the leadership of the Irish Georgian Society. This association now works to preserve Georgian heritage and organizes events at the City Assembly House, such as exhibitions, musical performances and even private events.
