The monument of beer! With over a million visitors a year, it is the most popular tourist attraction in Ireland.

Guinness Storehouse: the monument of beer in Dublin! With over a million visitors a year, it is the most popular tourist attraction in Ireland. And it is here that the famous beer is produced daily and exported all over the world. The mythical creamy stout was born in 1759 thanks to Arthur Guinness, in the heart of the St. James Gate brewery. At only 34 years old, and with limited means, he succeeded in the ambitious challenge of competing with the greatest English beers. In 1838, St. James Gate became the largest brewery in Ireland, then the largest in the world in 1914. The Guinness Storehouse, created in 2000 in a former fermentation unit, is now a museum dedicated to the glory of the Irish company. Shaped like a giant pint - it would take over 14 million pints to fill it! -It takes you into the lair of the famous brand, to discover its history, its manufacturing process and the Guinness family. The ground floor features the four essential ingredients for making beer: water, barley, hops and yeast. You can also see the traditional tools used by the brewers in the past. In 2015, a new floor was opened. It is dedicated to the evolution of the bottles and the history of the brand's advertising. The tour ends with a pint at the famous Gravity Bar, a panoramic bar on the seventh floor, at the top of the building, which offers a fabulous view of Dublin.
