IVEAGH GARDENS
Lovely Gothic-inspired public gardens with waterfalls, grotto and labyrinth, not far from Saint Stephen's Green.
Located near Saint Stephen's Green, between Clonmel Street and Upper Hatch Street, these beautiful public gardens are little known to tourists. Considered the city's secret garden, they are accessed through a small entrance on Clonmel Street. Of Gothic inspiration, they were designed by Ninian Niven in 1863 and include tree-lined paths, a grotto, waterfalls, fountains, a labyrinth, a rose garden... Ideal for a quiet stroll in one of the most beautiful gardens of the capital, and yet also one of the least known.
