FRANCIS BACON'S STUDIO
Museum representing a reconstruction of the incredible studio of Dublin painter Francis Bacon, located in the Hugh Lane Gallery.
The incredible mess of the Dublin painter Francis Bacon (very famous for his famous triptychs), then in London, has been reconstructed identically in the Hugh Lane Gallery, despite the insane disorder that reigned in his London studio: canvases, brushes, newspapers, everything is there... Even the dust bunnies were put back in place as they were! It took nearly three years to complete this painstaking work, which now allows visitors to discover, with great pleasure, the torments of creation according to Francis Bacon.
