GRANVILLE HOTEL * * * *
Value-for-money hotel overlooking the River Suir, located on the waterfront and featuring an excellent, award-winning restaurant
The Granville is a beautiful hotel overlooking the River Suir, situated on the quayside in the heart of Waterford. Dating back to the 1700s and then carefully restored, the building was the birthplace of Thomas Francis Meagher, the young republican who first publicly unveiled the Irish tricolour in Waterford in 1848. The rooms here are charming and well decorated (ask for a room with a river view). There is also an excellent award winning restaurant. Good value for money.
