On the site of a former prison, this museum - the Tipperary Hidden History Museum - traces the history and cultural richness of the county in its political, military, sporting (including hurling ), religious and civic aspects. Famous Tipperary natives, mainly from the world of sport and entertainment, are also featured: Maurice Davin, Tom Kiely, Lena Rice, Frank Patterson, Mick Delahunty and Tommy O'Brien.
