Located at Askeaton Pool, 26 kilometres before Limerick town, this service area is complete and free, which is rare in Ireland! It has 6 pitches for campervans with views of the abbey ruins. The noise of the swimming pool fans running all night can be annoying. You can then go to the riverside for a little more peace and quiet. If you want to take a shower at the pool, you have to pay an entrance fee of about 6 euros. Parking is allowed for 24 hours.
