Historic castle with the world's richest collection of medieval Irish furniture and a reconstructed rural village.

The castle was built in 1425 and became the property of the Studdarts. They lived there until the 19th century. In 1954, the castle was bought by Lord Gort, who gave it its present appearance and assembled the richest collection of medieval Irish furniture.

Bunratty Folk Park recreates, house by house, a 19th century rural village, from the thatched cottage to the farm, the church, the school and the pub! Not forgetting the animals and actors in period costume.
