The islands of Inishmore, Inishman and Inisheer can be reached from Doolin pier. The first is the most important of the three (for more information, see the section on the Aran Islands). Also several departures per day in high season allow you to get closer to the Cliffs of Moher to observe the birds that inhabit them. A simply exceptional excursion.
