EYRE SQUARE
An ornate square lined withbuildings in the center of Galway, a great place to relax.
Lined with19th-century buildings, this ornate square in the center of Galway has been completely renovated, and locals often regret the disappearance of the trees that used to give the place its charm. Although the square has now been cleaned up and concreted over, it's still a great place to relax, especially on sunny afternoons. It was also here that John Fitzgerald Kennedy gave a speech in 1963, shortly before his assassination, and the square is dedicated to him.
