The "Salmon Dam Bridge" (literally translated) was built in 1818 to connect the court to the cathedral, but also to connect with the main road in Connemara. From this bridge you can see the fly fishermen and, in May-June, salmon from the sea to the lakes.

"Pont aux saumons"
N'hésitez pas à vous rendre à la fin du printemps / début de l'été sur ce pont qui porte bien son nom... En effet, si vous êtes patients vous aurez la chance de voir les nombreux saumons irlandais remonter le courant !

Très intéressant de se balader le long de la rivière qui traverse la ville et notamment de regarder au milieu de cette rivière des pêcheurs de truites.

Joli pont qui donne sur la cathédrale. Les abords sont bien entretenus , et l'on peut voir pas mal de pécheurs. Jolie balade.
