GALWAY MARKET
A friendly market with craftsmen and stalls set up around the medieval church of Saint-Nicholas every Saturday.
Every Saturday, around the medieval church of St. Nicholas, a friendly market is held. There are florists and craftsmen, clothes, jewellery and leather goods. There are also small food stalls where you can take away food for a quick bite to eat, such as the delicious falafel stall which has built up a solid reputation. A great way to mingle with the people of Galway and pick up some unique items. During the Galway Arts Festival, the market runs for three days from Friday to Sunday.
