GALWAY CITY MUSEUM
Museum exhibiting various objects linked to the history of Galway, with a terrace overlooking Galway Bay
A visit to the Galway Museum is not to be denied, at least to access the terrace which is the Spanish Arch (city gates) from where you can enjoy a panoramic view of Galway Bay. The museum allows you to discover all sorts of objects related to the history of the city, such as farm tools, pieces of old machinery, military equipment but also stones from the medieval period acquired by the artist Claire Sheridan... A visit that history lovers will not neglect!
