THE QUAY HOUSE
A hotel set in a historic setting, with rooms overlooking the harbor, a good address in Clifden.
The hotel offers about fifteen rooms which give the port in spectacle. This beautiful residence dating from the 19th century was in turn a port building, a Franciscan monastery and a convent. Rooms and studios, all en-suite, welcome travellers for a night's sleep between modern comforts and a décor steeped in history, as evidenced by the paintings and antiques that delightfully adorn the house. And owners Paddy and Julia Foyle are always on hand to help you plan your excursions.
