CONNEMARA HERITAGE & HISTORY CENTRE
Open-air museum featuring an educational farm with athatched cottage and reconstructed prehistoric huts.
In a beautiful park at the foot of the Twelve Bens, this open-air museum created in the late 1980s, also called "Dan O'Hara Homestead", is located in the village of Lettershea, near Clifden. It is an educational farm consisting of a renovated 19th century thatched cottage and tastefully reconstructed prehistoric huts. A great way for families to discover the history of the region through its architectural heritage.
