LOUGH BOORA SCULPTURE & WILDLIFE PARK
A nature reserve with marshes and statues, once a major peat extraction site, this is a great place for hiking.
A nature reserve, once a major peat extraction site, where marshes, reeds and small lakes form a rich ecosystem. Fifteen artists have been invited to create a monumental sculpture each, inscribing it as an element of the landscape. The ensemble is of excellent quality and of international origin: United States, Japan, Denmark... The park is also an ideal place for hiking (numerous marked trails) and bird watching, of which more than 130 species have been counted.
