ERNE HOSPITAL

Erne Hospital, located in Enniskillen on Cornagrade Road, was the predecessor to South West Acute Hospital. The main hospital building comprised four floors offering ward accommodation for medical, surgical, gynecological, assessment, intensive care, main and ambulatory operating theatres, as well as outpatient services. Maternity and neonatal services, a medical rehabilitation unit including a medical care unit, coronary care and care for the elderly, as well as a range of health professional services such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy and podiatry were also available. The Erne Medical Center, home to five GP practices, is located behind the Erne Hospital site.
