BELFAST COFFEE TOURS
Belfast Coffee Tours was founded by Thérèse, an adorable and very friendly woman with whom we spend an excellent time. She previously specialized in archaeological tours, then started working in a Belfast café and then embarked on the adventure of Belfast Coffee Tours following numerous questions from her acquaintances asking her where to drink good coffee in the city. She has also worked in Guatemala, among coffee collectors: hence her penchant for an ethical and sustainable approach. During the 3-hour tour, we test five different quality addresses in which we taste several coffees each time and in which we are also entitled to delicious snacks. We are welcomed by real coffee experts, welcoming and exciting. The addresses visited always value local and independent producers, and serve good fresh produce and coffee produced in a fair way. During this tour, you will learn to taste coffee like a wine, to recognize the different types of beverages, and to understand the importance of the harvest and the machine used. Between each address we stroll from Ormeau Road to the city centre via the University district, and Thérèse tells us the history of the city and gives us little anecdotes about architecture and the crossed buildings. An essential tour for coffee lovers or for those who want to discover Belfast in good company under a more original aspect. This tour also allows you to find many nice little addresses to test afterwards.
PS: It was during this tour that we tasted one of the best espressos of our lives.
