Saint Patrick founded his first church in 445. The current cathedral (Anglican) dates from the xiiith century and was restored between 1834 and 1840. Inside, one can see in the north wing a fragment of a Celtic cross of the eleventh century and in the transept north of the sculpted heads dating back to the iron age.
