BELLA AFRIK
It's in the Cantonments district, right next to the famous Afrikiko (with its almost daily live music evenings), that some say you'll find the capital's best Italian restaurant. And it's true that the offer is very much up to scratch: wood-fired pizzas, plates of topped pasta or melting risottos... All served in the magnificent setting of a well-kept garden. While the place is fairly quiet during the day, in the evening and at weekends, it really comes alive, attracting locals, expatriates and travelers passing through. It's expensive, but it's good!
