WAR MUSEUM
Museum dedicated to the participation of Ghanaians in the Second World War as part of the British imperial troops.
You'd expect to find evidence of the wars fought by the Ashanti against the British, but curiously this museum - literally the Armed Forces Museum - is essentially devoted to the participation of Ghanaians in the Second World War as part of the British imperial troops in East Africa and against the Japanese. There are many maps, old photos and a large collection of weapons and war vehicles. A visit that sheds light on a very specific part of Ghana's military history.
