Small mill rehabilitated to offer guided tours by appointment in Orbec.
Renovation work on the Petit Moulin d'Orbec was completed in April 2023. By appointment, discover this place of memory, on the water since the 12th century, through an exhibition presenting the golden age of Orbiquet mills. You'll also enjoy a one-hour guided tour of the history of the small mill and a demonstration of how the water-raising machine was put into operation. It supplied Orbec with drinking water in the late 19th century, thanks to 30 public fountains. A page of history that has been awarded the Fondation du Patrimoine label.
