Visit a crocodile pond in Paga, to discover a sacred village animal.
The crocodile pond is 300 m from the main road, on the right as you enter Paga. A sacred animal in this village, crocodiles are accustomed to coming out of the pond to receive live chickens as a meal, offered by the locals. Beware, crocodiles are only half-tame. Accidents happen. If this little ride smacks of a tourist trap, you can push on a little further, towards the lake, which is a better place to see crocodiles (at the end of a residential area littered with plastic bags).
