ROYAL HOTEL
A listed site, the oldest continuously operating hotel in the South Pacific.
This is the oldest continuously operating hotel in the South Pacific. Built in the 1860s, it is a listed historic monument. However, it's nowhere near its former splendor, and the exterior of the building looks a little decrepit. So this accommodation is best suited to a quick overnight stop, for want of a better word. Since the Covid, only the cottages and studios have been rented out, and the rooms in the main house are no longer let. This should return to normal, but there's no precise date yet.
