In 1897, founder Pepi S'Ciavo gave his name to this trattoria. Renamed Da Pepi, the historic buffet has renovated its premises while retaining the spirit of the rustic dining room, with wooden tables and stools, the counter with cold meats and prepared dishes, plus terrace service. Here, pork is king, grilled in large quarters, breaded or cured. On the premises or to take away, you can choose from well-stocked sandwiches, plates served with antipasti or sauerkraut, or meat and vegetable platters(bollito misto) to share.

Storico ristorante nel centro di Trieste. Famoso il loro bollito da accompagnare con crauti, patate e melanzane o zucchine impanate.

Locale all'antica e accogliente, all'ingresso il profumo di bollito e di jota (zuppa triestina tipica) ti avvolge e non ti molla più! Ci tornerei una volta al giorno...

Amazing. Absolutely fantastic if you're a meat lover. Big portions and outstanding flavour. Very friendly staff and lovely atmosphere.

Iconic and incredibly good value! Buffet da Pepi is offering delicious traditional ‘boiled’ meat and fresh beers in the center of Trieste. Their sandwich was absolutely delicious and the service was fast. Really recommended to anyone who wants to enjoy various cuts of pork!

Locale molto carino dove poter assaggiare cucina locale, ma vista la mole di persone che volevano mangiare lì, il personale si aggirava intorno al tavolo come fossero squali per liberare in fretta il tavolo da lasciare ad altri. Brutta cosa.
