Introduced in 1911 as the most luxurious hotel in the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the hotel impresses with its white façade overlooking the Gulf of Trieste. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful - from outside and inside. Location is suberb. Close to most attractions, restaurants, bars,... Room was spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff is hospitable and kind. Overall, one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at in general and I wouldn't change a thing about it. Would definitely recommend and come back.
Also, the whole hotel smells really nice.
