During the day, the Ausonia Beach Club is a historic Trieste beach resort (it has been in existence since the 1930s) that is very popular with locals and visitors. People come here as couples, families or friends to enjoy the facilities, the solarium and the bar-restaurant. The establishment is also easily accessible from downtown. On certain summer evenings, it is also transformed into a large open-air discotheque facing the sea. The place attracts young people from the Triangle who come to dance to the sound of DJ sets.
