CAFFE SAN MARCO

This historic café opened in 1793 and was once the home of the aristocracy, before it was opened to all. Established under the wide arches of the 16th century Palazzo Municipale, facing the Duomo, it occupies an enviable position. This cocktail bar, to which Julius Caesar, perched on his pedestal, turns his back, also offers local specialties and, above all, delicious desserts, such as gubana, a typical Friulian cake served with whipped cream. A good address to take a break between two visits.
