Every year in July, Cividale del Friuli hosts the cultural event Mittelfest, a festival of music, dance, cinema and street theater that brings together famous artists from Central Europe. For ten days, the streets of the city vibrate to the sound of musicians and are animated by itinerant shows and performances of all kinds. There are also performances in the Ristori Theater, in the Church of San Francesco and even in the Archaeological Museum. A major cultural event for this Unesco listed city.
