Like pancakes and crepes, "Happiness is homemade": it’s posted on the wall. Sandrine and Patrick are very eager to please us. The copious and original patties are made on the fly and nicely presented, accompanied by a salad in a chaplaincy. The choice is varied, from the most classic to the vegetarian, through the Auvergne and its country ham or the pork butcher and its hot rillettes and onion confit. The traditional full-featured pancake soon seduced us and, above all, left room for a light lemon pancake. But it’s not just the pancakes here. Bouchot-fried mussels (in season), available in six flavours (marinière, curry, cheese...), the dish of the day (variable according to the market) such as Vire’s andouille pavé, veal chop - home-made purée - or mixed salads allow everyone to find what they are looking for. Not forgetting the traditional glass of cider. Enough to concoct some simple recipes for simple joy for a very reasonable price. Although it is not always necessary to make a reservation, it is still better to announce your visit in good weather or to pass a head before the time of the gunshot!
