VILLA MANIN
Villa Manin, Villa Manin was the residence of the last doge in Venice. Its vast park was famous for its th century. The Doge Manin built his villa on the remains of a th century country house. Napoleon stayed there in 1797 in order to develop the preliminary peace of Campoformio, which rushed the end of the Republic of Venice. Decorated with frescos, the spacious lounges of the villa welcome all the year of prestigious exhibitions of contemporary art and classical artists. The central body of the villa is visible to the visit only during the exposure period; park, armoury, chapel and carriages are open all year round.
