The Trento urban transport company serves the entire city as well as the neighboring municipalities (Rovereto, Riva del Garda, Arco and Nago-Torbole) and several towns in Trentino. The company is also the concessionaire of the Trento-Male-Marilleva railroad line.
A funicular (Funivia Trento-Sardagna) connects the center of Trento to the Sardagna plateau, on the southern slopes of Monte Bondone. The picturesque hamlet of Sardagna is the starting point for many hikes, but the view of Trento is worth the trip alone.
