Castel Firmiano (Sigmundskron) is the location of the complex of six MMM museums dedicated to mountaineering and the high mountains of Reynorld Messner. The castle, high up on its rock, is worth the climb up a flight of stairs. It has been rehabilitated into a modern museum combining glass and stone, playing with transparency and light. It houses a permanent collection of art and spiritual objects related to the high mountains, presents the link between man and the peaks, but also temporary exhibitions and events.
