If you're in the mood for a traditional Genoese meal, among all those modern bistros on Via Ravecca, step into this tiny, yellow-painted restaurant. FYI: Zena is the Genoese dialect name for Genoa. Farinata, ravioli, fish, and the classic trofie with green pesto, everything is prepared in the simplest of ways. A very friendly family atmosphere, where French is spoken. Prices are very reasonable and the food is delicious. Places are scarce, but it's well worth the wait!

Una serata piacevolissima, cibo ottimo e porzioni molto abbondanti. Squisite l'accoglienza e la simpatia di Claudio! Peccato non averlo scoperto prima. Mia figlia gli ha dedicato un disegno: il "miglior ristorante di sempre!":) :)

An overdue review as we visited in August. Amazing place, one of the best and the most authentic restaurants we have visited! Tasty food and amazing service. Reasonable prices. We payed 40€ for two (bread, two main dishes, two glasses of wine, one dessert). We were also very lucky to get the only non-reserved table that evening! Make sure to make a reservation as there are just a few tables available.
