Hotel an bester Lage in einem wunderschönen historischen Palazzo. Man kann sich nicht sattsehen an den ganzen Wandmalereien, Stukaturen, usw. Die Zimmer sind aber sehr modern umgebaut mit Beibehaltung des historischen Charmes. Sehr freundliches Personal! Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche übrig. Alles ist vorhanden - mitteleuropäisch, britisch und natürlich italienisch mit den im Nachbarhaus gemachten excelenten Dolci. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist mehr als erfüllt.

It's not often you get a chance to stay in a city centre palazzo, so grab this one (if you are in Genova). The building is carefully restored so in the hall and stairs you see and sense the history of the place, while the rooms are modern and comfortable. The church in the courtyard immediately in front looks worn from the outside, but is overwhelmingly beautiful on the inside, definitely also worth a visit.

Ho pubblicato poche recensioni su Google ed è da tanto tempo che non ne scrivo. Però per questo bellissimo hotel e a distanza di quasi due settimane dal soggiorno in famiglia, ho il piacere di lasciare il massimo punteggio.
Ho letto alcune decine di recensioni precedenti e devo dire che rispecchiano quanto vissuto, anche su alcuni punti "deboli".
Ci sono luoghi e persone che però lasciano un bel ricordo, facendo evaporare eventuali pecche. L'hotel Palazzo Grillo ha avuto questo effetto.
Il dettaglio, il pelo nell'uovo e altre piccolezze si possono trovare ovunque. Però nel complesso siamo stati davvero bene, ospitati con molta gentilezza e in un'atmosfera incantevole.
Può apparire scomodo se avete bambini piccoli col passeggino o se avete problemi a camminare qualche centinaio di metri per i caruggi. Ma il fascino di Genova e un elegante palazzo del 500 meritano questo piccolo sforzo.
Ci torneremo senz'altro.

Wonderful hotel. The building itself is a jewel. Rooms are extremely clean, spacious and quiet. Very comfortable beds. Breakfast is made of fresh products (+ on-demand squeezed orange juice). Staff is friendly. Perfect location to visit Genova.

Hands down, if you are looking for an eclectic, friendly, professional, and low-key place to reside within the city centre of Genova, then this is the place. Set in a restored ducal palace, it was a great experience which has me returning time and again.

The Piazza della Vigne where the hotel is located is a step away from the main paths in centro storico. This means that it is a calm place. The hotel is stylishly restored in the contemporary low key fashion that is common for upscale hotels nowadays. The staff is very attentive & helpful. There is no bar and no restaurant in the building. That doesn't matter very much though as there are very good ones just across the piazza. The breakfast is on the expensive side, and in the winter months the roof terasse where it is served could not add value for our stay. But it musr surely do so in warmer weather! A great stay overall, You wont be disappointed. Remember to bring the parking ticket with U from the car as it is needed to be altered by the staff for the discount.

Secondo soggiorno per lavoro in questo hotel. Bellissimo palazzo, belle e grandi le stanze. Personale super gentile e disponibile. Colazione nel roof con vista, fornita di diverse opzioni molto appetitose.

L'albergo è in una posizione molto comoda soprattutto per chi vuole visitare l'acquario.
È nel centro storico della città, non molto distante dal porto.

L'albergo è in un edificio storico particolarmente bello con stucchi e stanze affrescate.

Le stanze sono ben arredate, con gusto moderno.

Unico suggerimento che daremmo ai proprietari è di fare attenzione ad oscurare le finestre del bagno, seppur piccole, data la presenza di altri edifici, con relative terrazze e affacci, a stretta distanza.

Il personale è attento e cortese.

What a lovely discovery! This Hotel was the home of a noble family and is located in the heart of Genova's fascinating historical centre. Everything I wanted to see was within walking distance. And once back at the hotel, I enjoyed the fine and rigorous architectural renovation of a 14th century palace in harmony with the modern and design furnishing of the room and common areas. Breakfast on the top floor, overlooking rooftops was lovely with a good selection of sweet and savoury. The staff was welcoming and helpful. This hotel's character, heritage and a certain Italian understated elegance was a source of continuous inspiration.

This hotel was the private home of a Nobel family from hundreds of years ago (sorry I forget how many years). It was in a pedestrian zone, so there are no cars. but the hotel offered a tuktuk to pick us up at the parking garage where they have a special deal. The hotel was impeccably renovated, and there was a beautiful room on the third floor. It was a combination, library and recreation room with a view of the square. The rooms were nice, the beds were comfortable and the linens were good quality. They had a nice breakfast on the top floor. The area is quite nice with lots of shopping. It’s a short distance from the. Cathedral but the church next to the hotel was just as impressive(see photo). The staff was very nice. I would go out of my way to stay there again.

Bellissimo hotel in un palazzo storico nel cuore del porto antico di Genova. Pensavo di spendere molto di più. Fate attenzione ai carrugi: bellissimi, ma ci si perde con facilità. Maps vi aiuta ma non troppo, li in mezzo la rete fatica a connettersi. Ero a Genova per un congresso ma penso che ci tornerò come turista.
