GALLERIA IMPERIALE
Just a stone's throw from Piazza San Matteo, this art gallery is worth a visit for its lavish interior, worthy of a Renaissance palace! Since 1978, this treasure trove has belonged to the Mengoni family. On the ceiling? An abundance of relatively well-preserved frescoes, sculptures and architectural elements (vaults and arches) covering the entire first floor. A chic clientele is a must for the imperial gallery, home to numerous objets d'art (from imitation antique furniture to contemporary paintings), pieces ranging from the 18th century to the present day.
