In the palace where Lord Byron stayed, this patisserie, named after its Swiss founder, is historic. Sweet and savoury mignardises and all kinds of chocolates have been made here with the greatest care since 1910. The store, which has caught up with a certain clientele eager for a more balanced diet, also offers lower-calorie "sweets", with less sugar and more fresh fruit or nuts (walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds). One of the specialties that will last the trip is Genoese pandolce.
