When to go Genoa ?
Thanks to its Mediterranean climate, Liguria is a pleasant destination all year round, with mild winter temperatures and moderate to heavy rainfall. While summer remains the favorite season for seaside vacations, the major cities sometimes record peak temperatures (+35°C). To enjoy the region in peace and quiet, the best periods are spring and early summer. September and October are also very good.
The climate in Genoa is both humid subtropical and Mediterranean. It is characterized by its humidity with more than one meter of rain per year (few days of rain but abundant rainfall) and a small thermal amplitude between day and night. Similarly, there is little amplitude during the year. Winters are very mild (6/12°C) with exceptional frost and rare snowfalls, summers are hot but not scorching (21/28°C).
