Frantoio is the Italian word for wine press, named after the large old wine press that sits in the middle of one of the two pleasant dining rooms. In a pedestrian alleyway in the center of Lerici, a little set back from the seafront, here's a good restaurant well known to the locals, where the cuisine reflects the sun and perfumes of the Mediterranean. Among the specialties, seafood carbonara, langoustine triumph, fried squid and shrimp, sautéed mussels and salmon carpaccio are just some of the good choices on the menu.

Sono stata in questo ristorante con il mio compagno, dietro suggerimento di una collega del posto. Abbiamo preso un antipasto in due per 8 assaggi: direi che fossero più di 8 ma qualitativamente non all'altezza delle recensioni e delle mie aspettative. Frittelle di pesce molto unte con tanta pastella da non avvertire il contenuto, uso di maionese industriale, pesce insapore o coperto troppo dal condimento. L'antipasto, nonostante l'avessimo diviso, era molto abbondante e pesante, e con fatica siamo passati ai primi. Abbiamo preso un piatto di gnocchi (non sembravano fatti in casa) e dei paccheri con sugo di pesce. A mio avviso il pesce non era fresco, probabilmente surgelato, e i piatti nel complesso risultavano molto conditi. Non posso quindi dire di avere avvertito delle materie prime di qualità. Servizio attento e gentile. Locale anonimo e poco caratterizzato, eccetto per il vecchio frantoio in sala.

Nous avons adoré !!!! Vraiment une super adresse, avis aux amateur de poisson et fruit de mer. Super rapport qualité/prix, service impeccable. Nous y sommes allé en nous fiant aux avis déjà publiés et nous n’avons pas regretté ! Nous sommes presque déçus de l’avoir découvert le dernier jour de notre passage dans le coin. Je recommande !!
