An old palace houses this beautiful Bed & Breakfast, tastefully furnished and combining modern design with classically elegant spaces. The establishment has only a few rooms, all bright, with parquet floors and white furniture, equipped with wi-fi connection, TV and air conditioning. A large, bright breakfast room with a view of the city and its morning bustle. The owner speaks French. Very nice address along the charming via Santo Stefano, near the monumental heart of Bologna.

I then cancelled, requesting a refund, and was denied.
I then asked if I might change my reservation to a different night, and was told that no, as I had already cancelled. Tried to re-instate my cancelled room which was an option on the email from the previous day, but they refused saying they were fully booked up.
I checked and a room was still available.
Technically this was my fault, buyer beware, but really an unpleasant experience with impolite conversations. Also my reservation was over 3 weeks away, so plenty of time for them to find a new guest.
Might be a great place, in a great location...but was an unpleasant experience to be sure.
