One of the facades is preceded by a medieval portico with massive wooden beams, and the building still has painted coffered ceilings from the 15th century. The Liberty-style entrance hall, lit by a glass dome, sets the tone; we are in an exceptional place where the testimonies of different eras are elegantly blended. The historic Hotel Corona D'Oro is located in the heart of Bologna. The quiet position, just a few steps from the Piazza Grande and the two towers and the best of the museums, theaters and shopping streets, allows you to better enjoy the city center and its medieval architectural character and the excellence of its food and wine tradition.
The building dates back to the thirteenth century and boasts elegant medieval arcades. The elegant lobby with stucco Art Nouveau style, has a bright glass dome that makes the space unique and charming.
The 40 rooms have refined furnishings that help create an enveloping atmosphere, the expression of the constant attention to detail that characterizes the style of the hotel. They are very welcoming and marked by all the comforts.
Corona D'Oro has three beautiful suites, deluxe rooms, classic rooms and special single rooms with the so-called French bed.
Hotel Corona D'Oro is also equipped with three meeting rooms with technical facilities.
