MUSEI DI PALAZZO POGGI
Museum housing the historical collections of the Institute of Sciences.
In 1711 this beautiful Renaissance palace became the seat of the Institute of Sciences and then, from 1803, that of the University, when the venerable institution left the Archiginnasio Palace. Today, it houses the historical collections of the Institute of Sciences (anatomy, natural history, chemistry, physics). The section of the school of obstetrics is very interesting, we find the first uterus moulds in clay for the education of midwives. Also admire the rooms decorated with 16th century frescoes.
