Beautiful house on Corso Giovecca in Ferrara
This beautiful house, built from 1559, belonged to Marfisa d'Este, the granddaughter of Alfonso I and Lucrezia Borgia. Inside, one can admire the refined grotesques of the ceilings and the furniture of the 16th and 17th centuries. The house is located on Corso Giovecca, a straight axis that separates the Renaissance town from the medieval town. At the end of Corso Giovecca there is a large arch called "Prospettiva", through which one climbs the ramparts.
