MUSEO DELLA CATTEDRALE
Museum housing the collection of works of art belonging to the clergy and the city in the Middle Ages.
Located in the old church of San Romano, the museum's collection consists of works of art belonging to the clergy and the town from the Middle Ages to the 19th century. Among them are two statues by Jacopo della Quercia (1403-1406), and the large panels of the ancient organ representing St. George and the Dragon and the Annunciation, painted by Cosmé Tura (15th century). In front of the museum begins via San Romano, one of the busiest arteries of the city since the Middle Ages. This street is lined with arcaded porticoes.
