Church with mosaics visible on both sides
This church, whose mosaics have lost none of their bright colours, was built at the end of the 5th century by Emperor Theodoric. The superb mosaics visible on either side of the central nave depict two processions: on the right, a line of holy martyrs leaving the Emperor's palace and arriving at the blessing Christ; on the left, holy martyrs led by the Magi, leaving the port of Classe and arriving at the Virgin and Child.

Les mosaïques sont très belles mais avons préféré celles de San Vital,
Le ticket combiné est très pratique si vous avez l'intention de visiter les autres sites de Ravenne. JPaul
