MUSEO D'ARTE DELLA CITTA DI RAVENNA
Picture gallery located in the ancient monastery of the Canonici Lateranensi.
The pinacoteca is located in the ancient monastery of the Canonici Lateranensi, which has a Renaissance cloister and the Loggetta Lombardesca, an elegant two-level arcaded portico facing the public gardens. It preserves paintings from the Romanesque, Emilian, Tuscan and Venetian schools, dating from the 14th to 16th centuries. Particularly worth seeing is a Crucifixion by Lorenzo Monaco and, among the sculptures, the funerary statue of Guidarello Guidarelli, made in 1525 by Tullio Lombardo.
